Description

The Campagnolo Atek Hardox rim was another MTB part that worked great and had a good looking dark anodised finish, but didn’t stick around for long. The Atek was the lightest of the 26″ Mountain bike rims that Campagnolo produced, partly down to it’s narrow width and lack of eyelets, the concave profile of the sidewall was designed to prevent brake blocks slipping off (and also makes it hard to tell with used rims how much life is left!). This is a Hardox or hard anodised version, in standard MTB 26″ (559 ertro) size with 36 holes.

Of all the MTB parts Campagnolo produced I think the rims were the best, they offered great life, low weight and looked really good when built, there were no plastic parts to break nor were they hugely overbuilt and clunky looking.
