Description
Released with a marketing blitz and the sponsorship of two high profile race teams in 1989 the Campagnolo MTB groups were short lived but impressive. This seat post quick release is from the first generation of the Centaur group and is typical of their early mountain bike offerings – heavy, robust and over-built, with a rubberised handle and chunky knurled end cap. It’s always tricky to tell with Campagnolo but the same item seems to be in that years Euclid catalogue and may well have been used through later years too.
