Description
Superb mid 90s WTB Speedmaster brake set; a full set of front and rear cantilevers with all the fittings and straddle cables. This set has a few marks from storage and sadly only one of the original straddle hangers but everything else is complete. This design was much copied and a similar, cheaper one produced a little later.
Like all Wilderness Trail Bikes designs it is purely about function, ease of use and light weight, the included original grey Koolstop pads were some of the best available too. The below magazine review is from the now defunct UK magazine MTB Pro and dates from 1995, this is a slightly different version, but Chipps was very impressed! These would be the ideal finishing touch to a cantilever brake Phoenix or mid 90s Potts.
