This UK made Allintex front hub dates from (I suspect) the mid 90s and combines sealed bearings with a secure bolt on axle. It looks like what I would have called a ‘suspension’ hub back in the day as the shell is quite wide and the bolt on axle should provide added stiffness.
The anodised blue finish looks great and though Allintex were better well known for their shiny bolts and titanium bits they could obviously turn their hand to other parts with aplomb too. This hub is new old stock and has never been laced but has some marks from storage on the shell as pictured.
