Ooooh. A full Suntour XCD groupset from 1990, finished in the subtle grey and including nearly everything you need to get a retro MTB up and running. Introduced in 1988 XCD was specced on numerous mid level bikes and in 1990 dropped the ‘6000’ to become just XCD sitting below XC Pro and XC Comp in the line-up. For 1990 the groupset got X-Press under-bar shifters with 7 speed Accushift indexing, multi-mount shifters, a Pedersen self-energising rear cantilever brake and later a cassette hub. These groupsets are late 1990 groups as they have the cassette and cassette hub not pictured in the catalogue, XCD was replaced in the 1991 model year.
Ideal if you are building a newly painted MTB or if you want a great working old school group for a touring or town bike, there is limited availability of these, and we can’t get any more! We also have the Vice grips as seen in the catalogue here.
Some storage marks, these are nearly 35 years old after all, all parts are unused new old stock though.
