The Grey Headlock for 1 1/8″ headsets are a classic early 90s CNC machined and gaudily anodised trick bit that offer a real purpose (and look cool). The headlock replaces your existing headset top cap (or can sit underneath it) and allows you to easily tighten up the headset and remove any play and then lock it in place with the grub screw. Further, thanks to the knurled outer finish they are ideal for adjusting the headset whilst out in the hills or touring as you don’t need a large headset spanner. Vey neatly made and finished in the UK and sold through the distributor Zoobits back in the day these were a more colourful, home-grown alternative to the Gorilla headlock.
