Super cool 1st generation Scott Pedersen SE cantilever brake for ultimate stopping power. This brake was made in a few generations and the design was later licensed to Suntour who used it in their top of the range XC Pro group. This one is a made in the USA brake with all original hardware and brake hanger and straddle cable.
The box is labelled ‘Fork cantilever’ which leads us to believe this is a front brake, they were available in front and rear versions and shouldn’t be mixed up. Annoyingly there are no markings on the brake itself and they do not come apart to check the internals!
