Perhaps one of the best groupsets ever the Shimano 600 6400 (or tricolor) series offered almost Dura-Ace finish and build quality at an everyday price point. The hubs are excellent, I have used them on commuters for the last 15 years and they only need occasional servicing and a quick polish. They also came with a really nice, comfortable and good looking quick release and a subtle logo, all the stars.
