Description
These Shimano made mud scrapers attach onto the rear wheel between the cassette or freewheel and the frame and ‘comb’ between the sprockets to keep them clear of mud. These appear as part of the 1994 Deore XT model group, the ideal part for the completist. The version you probably know best was the Crud ‘cog hog’, that came in lots of fancy colours too, I have no idea who came up with the idea first, but I was surprised to see a Shimano made one!
Includes scrapers with 5 and 6 teeth for multiple sprockets (it will work with 6, 7 and 8 speed set ups) and instructions.
