Bomb-proof Shimano Deore XT M732 rear hub from the first generation of HyperGlide (HG) mountain bike hubs, these are renowned for their longevity and look great as well. Released in 1989 Deore XT II added a couple of neat improvements to Shimano’s initial full MTB groupset, one of the major ones being the 7 speed HyperGlide freehub that worked with SIS indexed shifting. This one is 32 hole and for 130mm spaced for older mountain bikes or most older touring bikes, the excellent cam action rubber handled original XT quick release is included too.
The freehub body will also take a six speed UniGlide (UG) cassette too for backwards compatibility.
