Shimano Dyna Drive pedal adaptors

Shimano Dyna Drive pedal adaptors

Pedal adaptors to run normal 9/16" pedals in Shimano Dyna Drive cranks

Shimano has been at the forefront of bicycle technology for many years, some ideas are incredible and have lasted the course of time, some came and went. Dyna Drive (DD) was an example of the latter, a theory that making the axle diameter larger on pedals would improve stiffness, it probably did, but it did not catch on. The system appears to have been offered from 1980 and had all but gone by 1985, it was used on a couple of higher end road bike groups and Shimano’s touring group (pre MTB) Deore.

These reproduction adaptors are very well made and machined from aluminium, they will allow you to use standard 9/16″ pedals in your DD cranks and are left/right specific.
