About as close to bicycle jewellery as it gets, these superb Suntour Superbe downtube shifters are part of one of the prettiest ever groupsets (IMO!). The finish is excellent, with everything just so and even the red and gold box implies they are a quality product. A pair of clamp on downtube shifters for friction rear derailleurs, with high quality cables including wound steel outer for front and rear and some gum hoods. This pair of gum hoods appear to have started degrading in the packaging unfortunately, but they are there regardless.
Available from 1982 until 1984 this is the last of the ‘classic’ looking high end Suntour groups, made at a time when Suntour were producing the best bike components on the planet.
