Shimano Sante hubs for UniGlide

Beautifully finished 1980s road bike hub set from the short-lived grouppo

In stock

Delightful pair of Shimano Sante hubs for a seven speed UniGlide cassette, from the short-lived 90s groupset that was designed to be both fashionable and aerodynamic. Featuring a lovely satin-white anodised finish and Shimano’s typical high quality bearings these hubs are a rarity as a pair and include the original quick release levers. The pair are 36 hole and the Freehub body is for a seven speed UniGlide cassette only, the rear spacing is 126 mm.

Introduced as a competitor to Suntour’s Ole groupset in 1988, Sante sat somewhere above the new 600 Ultegra groupset and below Dura Ace and was designed to offer aerodynamic advances such as headset covers and flush chainring bolts.
