Sante was Shimano’s attempt at catching the eye of the fashionable cyclist, it sat somewhere above the 600/Ultegra group but below Dura Ace and offered a combination of aero benefits and a stylish smooth white finish. Introduced in 1988 the grouppo didn’t last too long but is now sought after due to it’s limited availability and appearance on some great production bikes of the time (like the Bridgestone Radac).
These caliper brakes are short drop with recessed allen key head fixings, they come complete with one piece finned brake pads, there is no quick release on the brake itself.
