Description
This VAR crank extractor is ideal if you work on your own vintage bikes, with a double ended design it will work with standard 22mm square taper cranks and the over-sized T.A pattern 23mm cranks. The over-sized 23mm T.A thread size was used on the three and five arm models and is hard to track down a good quality extractor for. Sheldon Brown suggests that with care you can also use the 23mm size on an older Stronlight crank with a 23.35mm thread.
