These high-top LOOK AS56 Alpine shoes were part of the 1989 LOOK line-up and were touted as touring shoes at the time. With a stiff sole, cushioning around the ankle and laces to fine tune the fit they would perform pretty well now too.
Size is a US 10 or UK 9, and they fit pretty well to size, they are designed around LOOK’s PP/PS cleat system and a pair of original cleats and bolts are included in the box. The box itself is a bit battered but the shoes are NOS with just some shop wear and slight discolouration as shown in the pictures. All you need to fully embrace the look (pun intended) are some PP56 or PS26 pedals. And a bike, obviously.
