Description
Excellent quality MKS MXP-110 clipless pedals, these were also branded by Suntour and were part of the XC Pro groupset. In the early 90s Suntour produced, arguably, the best MTB groupsets. When XC Pro ‘Micro Drive’ came out in 1993 it combined a very high quality finish with flawless shifting and lower weight and by introducing the smaller chainrings at the front better all round performance. Unlike Shimano, Suntour didn’t choose to actually make a number of their components, instead they out-sourced to other Japanese manufacturers whose specific abilities meant they could produce a guaranteed high quality product at a good price – Sugino (cranks); Dia Compe (brakes) and MKS (pedals).
These pedals are not the Suntour branded pedal but the MKS version, they are however identical apart from the logos, the champagne finish, adjustable cleat retention and full rebuild-ability are the same as the Suntour version.
