France and Italy update: There is now a small charge to be paid per item before the package is shipped, you will be notified of the extra cost and sent an invoice after you have ordered.
USA UPDATE: Now de minimis has been removed taxes are to be paid before the item arrives in the USA. Unfortunately the website isn’t clever enough to figure out what the extra charges will be, so please email to get a cost, otherwise we will be in touch after you have ordered to arrange payment before the item can be sent.
This is a one-person, spare time, done-for-the-love-of-it operation so I am not going to be challenging Amazon for despatch and shipping times. It can often take a few days for me to get things together and booked in for collection, and then some more time to get the postie to pick it up. If your order is urgent and you need it quickly please get in touch first to make sure that is achievable.
The Bicyclist ships all over the World, for a price please add the items you are interested in to the basket and click ‘Calculate shipping’ in the Basket totals section. For small parts the price is accurate, for larger items there are currently some services that we cannot use so we are using alternatives such as DPD.
We do not charge VAT but there may be some charges levied on orders leaving the UK so be aware you may be liable for import tax and fees when buying – sorry!
Returns are accepted if notified within 14 days of receipt of the item, they must be back with us within 30 days of receipt, all items must be returned in the same condition as they left.
