Description
These superbly built and finished Specialized sealed bearing hubs are ideal for a vintage road, Audax or touring bike. Made in Japan, probably by Sansin, these 1980s hubs were from a period when Specialized were utilising the best in the World to manufacture their products. With a high polish finish and some of the classiest skewers available at the time these hubs will suit a road or touring bike, or anything where a strong, smooth rolling hub is needed.
Both hubs are 36 hole and with a Specialized branded quick release, the rear is British threaded for a freewheel and 126 OLN so will work with 5 and 6 speed freewheels, and should work with 7 speed freewheels too. They are reasonably light at 555 grams for the pair with skewers too.
