This 1 1/8” threaded Shimano Deore DX headset shares a lot of features with the top of the range XT unit from the same period. With tough steel cups and loose bearings these are ideal for tandems or MTBs that will take a lot of abuse. This headset is for 1 ⅛” diameter threaded forks, if your stem quill measures 25.4 mm in diameter this is for you.
