Description
A revolution of sorts when it was released 20 years ago the White Industries ENO ‘Eccentric’ rear hub enabled the user to convert any bike into a fully functioning single speed. With no derailleur to tension the chain a single speed set up needs something else, this could be a specific frame with an eccentric BB (expensive/inconvenient) or a tension arm like a singulator (ugly). The ENO hub gets round this by putting the eccentric mechanism into the hub itself, meaning you can run a perfectly taut drivetrain with any vertical/semi-horizontal dropout frame. Features a lovely high-polish finish, excellent quality machining and well sealed super-smooth bearings. This is the disc version, if you are (quite rightly) not using a disc you can ignore this side or fit a fixed sprocket to make an eccentric flip-flop rear hub.
