This mid 80s Sakae chainset is a classic Japanese made double in the style of the Campagnolo chainset of the time. Supplied as part of Suntour’s SVX groupset which was a mid range road/light touring group, it is a fairly standard 42/52 tooth double. With typical strong and crack-resistant forged construction these Sakae cranks were ubiquitous on bikes through the 70s and 80s.
