These Suntour XCD 6000 combination levers sit indexed or friction thumbies on top of four finger brake levers. Comprising the same brake lever assembly as found on the top of the range XC 9000 combination levers with the slightly chunkier, grey finished 6000 thumbies. They have a good deal of adjustment to get the position dialled in and the rubber coated lever blade is comfy with or without gloves.
The thumbies have both friction and indexed Accushift modes for 6 speed, they can be used with any rear mech mech across a wide range of gears in friction mode but need to be used with another Accushift rear mech and (non-Ultra) Suntour 6 speed freewheel or cassette.
XCD 6000 first appeared in 1988 and was recognisable by its grey finish, we have some more parts from this grouppo and plenty of Suntour MTB bits from that period too as well as some compatible chains and freewheels.
