Description
The Sakae Prizm fork was a great period upgrade that also came specced on a number of late 80s and early 90s high-end road bikes. These forks were supplied with Salsa La Raza road frames and high-end Cannondales amongst others and despite being aluminium and a low weight they are nice and comfy with a good amount of clearance too.
With a 1″ British threaded steerer measuring 150 mm and with 45 mm of thread they are suited to frames with a head tube no longer than 120 mm (if used with one of these low stack headsets), the dropout width is a standard 100 mm OLN and the brake takes a recessed allen bolt. Clearance is good and depending on the brake you should be able to run a 28c tyre without any difficulties.
