Though I’m not convinced anyone truly needs one of these ATB / MTB frame mounted portage straps any more they were all the rage back in the early days of MTBing. Made of flexible plastic with a rubberised side for added comfort these flexible straps mount on the top and down tube (28.6 mm tubes only, obvs) and form a curved corner to rest on your shoulder as you carry the bike across streams and rock gardens or to a photogenic muddy spot without getting your NOS tyres dirty so you can take a nice photo for social media. Work nicely for Cross bikes too.
