Description
These very nicely made Dia-Compe AGC 251 aero brake levers are really nicely finished, comfortable and look great. The levers were the top of the range of Dia-Compe’s 1980s ‘Aero Gran Compe’ offering which were the best products the company made at the time. With aero routing (including the specific cable ferrules required) and an ergonomic feel they were widely used on dirt drop set-ups by those in the know in the 1980s.
It seems most versions of this lever have a stylised ‘A’ on the plastic near the pivot point which these levers do not, they may have been made for OEM perhaps, but they are the same lever. They were sold as a set called ‘BRS 400’ with calipers, hence the logo on the arm.
