Description
The Mavic 580 CX hub was designed with an extra narrow 80mm OLN (over lock nut) length for track and time trial bikes to improve aerodynamics. Also offered in a 100m axle version this is the original narrower one which also fits in a Brompton should you want the superior quality of a Mavic hub instead of the fairly basic standard Brompton one. With the same build quality as the rest of the 5** series hubs Mavic offered through the 70s, 80s and 90s this is a real gem.
Though NOS and unused this has quite a few light scratches as pictured from storage, the bearings still feel super though.
