Description
A classic, this early 80s Nitto MT-1 1″ quill stem has the apt nickname ‘Golf Club’ due to it’s shape (and not the cost!). For un-shimmed, 22.2 bars only and with a 22.2 mm quill shaft for 1″ threaded steerers these were designed for both early MTBs and used on some BMX. These are original stock and were specced on high end early custom bikes as they were one of the only off the peg MTB stems available at the time! The stems have some rise and 80 mm of extension, the bars are clamped with four bolts and the faceplate fully removes to fit sweepy hi-rise bars easily. Built with trademark attention to detail and quality by the Japanese master craftsmen at Nitto.
