1980s Specialized branded mountain bike brake cable set with over-sized 2.0 mm cables for increased strength. At a time when U brakes and four finger brake levers were all the rage these over-sized cables added some much-needed stiffness and increased braking performance. These are from that period when all of Specialized’s components were made by the best makers available in Japan and Italy.
