Fantastic pair of Panaracer Khartoum folding tyres with a fairly shallow tread that would be ideal for Cyclocross in drier conditions or as a gravel/all road Gnarmac/whatever we are calling it now tyre. It is of course fresh from the late 1980s/early 1990s though so will also look at home on a period cross bike or touring bike. Made in Japan by Panaracer to a very high quality these tyres are nice and light and have a directional tread pattern that could be used front or rear, or reversed on the rear as we used to do with MTB tyres. The block pattern is similar to other all condition tyres from Panaracer and has a passing resemblance to the famed Rock ‘n’ Road.
There is a chance you could set these up tubeless, I haven’t tried though so can’t guarantee how successful that would be.
