Description
Good quality and good looking silver seat posts with layback in the classic Ritchey style as made by Nitto throughout the 1990s, but for a lower price (and not quite as good a finish!). Offered in a number of sizes all at 400 mm long they are plenty long enough for most MTB applications and can be easily cut down for road or touring bike use.
26.0; 26.2; 26.4; 26.6 are hard ton find in decent length and of a good quality, a number of steel road bikes, mountain bikes and tandems utilised these sizes.
26.8 is a typical good quality steel mountain bike size – such as the Salsa a ala Carte and Bontrager O.R for instance
27.0 is a high end steel MTB size or can also be found on some 531 road and touring frames
27.2 is the most common size for seat posts and includes steel road bikes made from high-end Reynolds or Columbus tubing and some lightweight MTBs such as Ritchey P series
28.6 is a fairly rare size found on some steel, titanium and aluminium mountain bikes
29.6 was found on some Muddy Fox MTBS and the earlier Orange C16 steel frames
31.6 is Klein size, and was also used by quite a few builders in high-end aluminium for road and MTB
