Description
These Shimano Deore DE21 downtube shifters are from the short-lived first generation Deore group designed for touring bikes in the early 80s. The shifters were introduced right at the start of the 80s as a wide range touring group but the group was also picked up by the early MTB adopters.
The shifters were designed to be used with the Centeron rear derailleur specifically but will work with other friction mechs.
