Whilst not at the top end of the Shimano MTB grouppos STX was well made and nicely finished, this 1 1/8″ threaded headset is no exception with sealed bearing units and a nice black chrome type finish. Complete with instructions this will give years of service and would be ideally suited to a commuter bike or tandem where strength and longevity is required over light weight.
