Description
Hard to find original 1980s stock Shimano UniGlide chain designed for the UniGlide sprocket profiles found on their freewheels and cassettes. Before Shimano’s first attempts at a freehub body which resulted in the relatively short-lived UniGlide cassettes Shimano called their new profile of sprocket and chain plate UniGlide too. It obviously isn’t completely necessary to run a UniGlide chain on a UniGlide freewheel or cassette, but it;s nice, and I know there are a few retro bike completists out there.
I’ve been struggling to track down model UG30 for a while, seems like the UG chain in the catalogues is always UG20, perhaps the UG30 was OEM only?
