Description
This series of 105 freehubs were introduced first with a 6 speed UniGlide cassette in 1987 and then later with the 7 speed UG freehub, finished in a dark blue anodised finish they were superseded by the HyperGlide 105 in 1990. Matching pair of 36 hole hubs in the original box with quick releases and instructions for use.
Shimano hubs of this period are notoriously bomb-proof, or over-engineered depending on your viewpoint, they are fully rebuildable and well sealed, the freehub bodies are also interchangeable so they will provide years of service.
