Description
Suntour specific 7 speed CS-AP00-K7 cassette with one threaded sprocket for Suntour’s proprietary freehub design, from the 1991 XC Ltd and X-1 MTB groupsets. Although constant innovation was part of what made Suntour great it was key to it’s downfall with an over-complicated number of specific cassettes, chains, derailleurs and shifters across road and MTB groups that weren’t inter-compatible and were updated yearly!
If it isn’t immediately clear which cassette you need your best bet is to measure the length of the splines on the freehub body; 6 speed = 23.7 mm; 7 speed = 26.1 mm; 8 speed = 30.8 mm; 7 speed Micro Drive (MD) = 20.7 mm; 8 speed MD = 25.4 mm.
