Description
Wonderful set of Shimano 600EX shifters for down tube fitment in the original box, bundled with inner and outer cables and cable guides. Introduced in 1984, 600EX was second in the Shimano line up behind Dura Ace and shared a lot of the same technologies and high quality finish.
These shifters are ‘Band A Type’, which I understand is not compatible with ‘Campagnolo type’ down tube bosses, not that that matters as they come supplied with a frame clamp. With inner cables, nice metal outer cable sections, a downtube cable guide for both mechs and a cable stop for the rear mech this little box is packed with lovely NOS parts to finish a bike off.
